Biography

Wang Xin, Beijing Hospital, Department of Urology, Chief Physician, MD. He mainly engages in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently occurring urological diseases. His clinical expertise includes minimally invasive surgical treatment of urological tumors, diagnosis and treatment of andrological and prostate diseases, sexual dysfunction, infertility, and aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of male and female reproductive organs.

He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Intimate Plastic Surgery and Industry Branch of the China Sexology Association; Standing Director of the Andrology Branch of the China Information Research Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Standing Committee Member of the Male Reproductive and Sexual Medicine Committee of the Chinese Association of Non-Public Medical Institutions; Committee Member of the Laser Group of the Urology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; Committee Member of the Sexual Medicine Branch of the China Sexology Association; Committee Member of the Male Reproductive Medicine Branch of the China Sexology Association; and Committee Member of the Surgery Branch of the China Sexology Association.

He serves as a Committee Member of the Andrology and Sexual Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Youth Committee Member of the Andrology Branch of the Beijing Medical Association; Committee Member of the Urinary Tract Repair and Reconstruction Group of the Urology Branch of the Beijing Medical Association; Committee Member of the Andrology Branch of the Beijing Association of Integrative Medicine; Council Member of the Andrology Professional Physicians Branch of the Beijing Medical Doctor Association; and Committee Member of the Andrology Disease Diagnosis, Treatment and Healthcare Professional Committee of the Beijing Preventive Medicine Association.

In 2008, he graduated from Peking University Health Science Center with a Master's degree in Surgery, and in 2013, he obtained a Doctoral degree in Urology from Peking Union Medical College. From 2015 to 2016, he studied minimally invasive urological surgery and laser diagnostic and therapeutic techniques at Mayo Clinic and Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester in the United States. From 2017 to 2018, he studied aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of male and female external genitalia at the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

In recent years, he has published multiple papers as first author in core journals such as Chinese Journal of Urology, Chinese Journal of Geriatrics, China Medical Journal, and JOVE, and has participated in the compilation of several medical monographs, including Chinese Geriatrics, Merck Manual of Geriatric Diseases, Practical Geriatrics, Geriatrics, and Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Urological and Andrological Diseases.
